Welcome

HEY, EVERYONE! I'M CINDY.

Welcome to my blog! Here is a little information about myself: I am married to my amazing husband Milton for over five years and we have a beautiful three year old daughter, Abby. The reason why I started this blog is to share my journey in hopes that it could help someone else. I will be posting about marriage, motherhood, our infertility journey, and family recipes.

Hope through the negative pregnancy tests?

Writer: Cindy ArriagaCindy Arriaga

My infertility journey has been a rollercoaster ride since the start. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome over seven years ago, we have had tears of joy as well tears of sadness. What I have learned from this journey is that infertility does not discriminate it can affect anyone, about 10 percent of woman in the United States have a difficulty getting pregnant.

Today I am going to talk about the negative pregnancy tests- we always see a lot of positive pregnancy tests on social media but never the negative pregnancy tests and why is that? Because every negative pregnancy tests just reminds us of how our bodies are not “normal”, how our bodies have failed to do something they were created to do.

Although, I was blessed to experience pregnancy and motherhood with our beautiful daughter Abigail, I remember the struggle it was for years to get pregnant with her and now again trying for baby number two. Many have asked how I get through it? How do I get through the many negative pregnancy tests? Through the physical pain from infertility?

My simple answer is HOPE.

Hope that no matter what percentage my doctor gives me, I will be blessed with another baby. Hope that every physical pain I feel every month from endometriosis is worth it because a baby is coming soon. Hope that God will heal me and breath life into me because His the only that can do so.

I am not going to lie, it’s hard to get to the place that I am today and sometimes I have hard days and I don’t know what the future brings but setting my mind on HOPE instead of FEAR will help get through it.

Just remember you are a strong woman, you are not alone, and you will get through this!
