HEY, EVERYONE! I'M CINDY.

Welcome to my blog! Here is a little information about myself: I am married to my amazing husband Milton for over five years and we have a beautiful three year old daughter, Abby. The reason why I started this blog is to share my journey in hopes that it could help someone else. I will be posting about marriage, motherhood, our infertility journey, and family recipes.

Salsa Verde

Ingredients

6 green tomatillos

3 jalapeño pepper

¼ of an onion

3 garlic cloves

1 tablespoon of lard or avocado oil

1 teaspoon salt



STEP ONE In a medium pan with oil cook the tomatillos, jalapeños, onion, and garlic. Cook until all sides get a charcoal burned texture.


STEP TWO In the blender put all of the ingredients cooked (the leftover oil as well). Start by adding 1 teaspoon of salt and blend. Taste to see if it needs more salt.


It’s that EASY, I make for potlucks and serve with some tortilla chips or when it’s TACO TUESDAY!
